The Wedding of Amber & Adam
The Bride The Groom Our Story The Wedding RSVP Guests Gift Registry
When it came time for college, we both firmly believed that we should put our education above our desire to live closer together. As a result Amber attended University of Dayton and Adam attended Michigan Technological University, increasing our distance from 5 hours to 15 hours apart. We made every effort to spend any free weekend together and made sure that no matter what we would at least be there to say good night every night. We also were lucky to have the opportunity to spend every summer together both in Muskegon, Dayton, and in our future home Rochester, MN.

After graduating in 2003 Adam moved to Rochester to take a full-time job at IBM and we started making plans for when we would finally be able to live full time in the same city. Amber had spent the year after her graduation working with inner-city kids in Dayton and couldn't make the move to Rochester until after the school year ended. Before we started the big move we had the opportunity to spend a week with Amber's extended family in a beach house in Virginia Beach, VA. On July 1st, 2004 Amber woke Adam up for a planned date to watch the sunrise over ocean. By the time the sun was up, we were engaged.

In the 2 years since our engagement we have been working towards making a life for ourselves in Rochester, Amber working at Byron Schools as a Special Ed Teacher and Adam working at IBM. We are looking forward to showing all of our guests our new home town, when you come to visit in July.
